Our First Ever Show … Outrageously Successful!

We’ve attended a few events but this is the first time we’ve been on the other side of it all and actually exhibited! From an idea in the head to realising our dream of helping people to get the nutrition their body is crying out for! We were more than a little surprised at the popularity of the ‘Green Supreme‘ … possibly preaching to the converted somewhat but we sold out!

cold pressed juice its your life 2015So we just wanted to write a little blog update on the “It’s Your Life” Health & Wellbeing Show held at the Rivermead Leisure Complex in Reading on the 12th April 2015. We had an outstanding day and we were left slightly shellshocked by the overwhelmingly positive response from those that tried our products on the day.

I mean, we love the moo-friendly yumminess that we make in our kitchen and enjoy it on a daily basis but to have so many other people telling us how lovely our fresh cold pressed juices and delicious almond mylks are … well, it made our day and we drove home very tired but very happy bunnies. What a top buzz!

We were busy but did manage to make the most of the opportunity to network with so many other like minded people. This whole movement is gaining much more traction now and it’s great to see the general awareness of the need to live more healthy, sustainable and ethical lives becoming more and more prevalent.

We believe our future as a species can only be sustainable. We can only move forward by living more ethical and compassionate lives; and we know that we’re not the only ones who feel this way.

So back to the show!

After a late night and an early start we were set up by 9.30am. There were one or two who were later than us but not many 🙂 The morning was a bit slow; footfall a bit thin on the ground but then it picked up for us in the afternoon and we were positively innundated on more than one occasion! The time flew by and it was a lot of fun.

lots of yummy cold pressed juiceWe sold more than we expected but much more importantly, we gained some excellent feedback on our products; and it was 99% positive. Way better than we thought it might be. The raw cacao almond mylk was a real hit and the ‘Green Supreme’ was by far the favourite of the juices … contrary to our expectations.

We had a blast at the show and our sincere thanks goes out to Diana for organising the event. We had a great pitch! Also want to mention some of the stallholders we met … Great to meet Nancy and James at Skinny Buddah; a start up, like us … love the flap jacks 🙂 Have to mention Nick and Miki at My Living Water UK. Great to meet you both and hope the choccy mylk helped you get home!

Before we finish up, also want to mention Clare at We Are Juniper (thanks for the great advice), Mel at Love Kombucha, Tao at Tao’s Kitchen, Tolhurst Organic, The Cultured Cellar, Tim & Jaqui at Riverford Organic Farms, Nat at Drink Maple … you’re all completely amazing 🙂

Looking forward to the next show!

  1. Hi Devangi and Rory,

I cannot be more pleased that you did so well. You absolutely deserved it for the amount of work I know you put in.

You are right – we had some amazing exhibitors. There was so much knowledge and enthusiasm in the hall. The feedback comments echo this and people are hungry (pun intended!) for more It’s Your Life! Genuinely, people want this knowledge and what better, enjoyable and free way than to pick the brains of the exhibitors. The NEXT show is on November 22nd.

Thanks for coming guys – wonderful that you did so well!

    Diana

  2. […] Another aim of the show was, where possible, to find small local companies. It is good for the economy, the carbon foot-print, Berkshire dwellers and the businesses themselves. One of the new local businesses wrote a lovely review of the show and you can see it here. […]
